my front tyres are shot on my honda fourtrax 300 4x4 can i go oversize on the front tyres without changing the rears or will this damage the permanent 4 wheel drive. thanks.

 

I'm not 100% sure but I thought you needed to keep the tire size difference between the front and rear to prevent damage to the 4wd system.

 

you have to keep an inch different between the front and back. i have a 300 4x4 and have 25x8x12 in. on the front and 26x10x12 on the back. works ok. but it's a killer on your power. if i had it to do again i would stay with stock size and just get 6 plys...just my thoughts.
