Rubicon transmission problems
I would give Honda a year or two to perfect that and the new trans. on the Rincon. For an example look at Chevy's '99 pickups when they first released the new body style and motors, they had a few glitches in them. Now thier all gone, since theve had a year or two to work them out. Also, if you look at it, Honda is the only one that has come out with a Non-belt automatic arent they? So youve still gotta give them credit.

Rubicon transmission problems
Whatever! I've had 2500 trouble-free miles out of my tranny. There are a lot of variables as to why this is happening on the handful of bikes mentioned, and no different than the types of things that could go wrong on some of the bikes that one of the other (recent) poster mentions. It's a luck of the draw (or purchase). What's important is whether it's a widespread problem (not the case here), and how does the dealer/manufactor stand behind their product.
