Yesterday we were trail riding & it took a little while but my Rancher hit 50 MPH not bad considering I weigh over 240 pounds. It might have went faster but I ran out of good trail! The rev limiter never kicked in.

 

I have had seven machines in my 16 years of riding and have always come back to Honda. Polaris is fast but if you want the most dependable, maintenance free, best re-sale value machine on the market then Honda is the best. My Honda 350 ES is the best. My friends 450 is a close second.

 

bout the fastest i've had mine is 48 on asphalt. rancher's are as fast as i ever need in a quad. if i wanted fast i'd get a DS650
