OK guys & gals, who has the record for the most miles on a Honda Rancher? Am just curious as to how long one of these things will last.

 

Well my friend has about 700 on his but i know that is not the most. He would take me on the back and in about a month we put 400 on it. He used to have a trail to powerlines like 5 years ago but dirtbikers would come along and ride up and down his driveway so they cut trees down. Then i desided to convince him to take a look on the trails and move the logs. We cleared it out in 10 minutes and we rode like crazy.

 

A little over 1600. Only had it 14 months, so I'm sure that's not the record.

 

I have a freind with over 7600 miles miles on his 2001 ES 4x4.

 

A friend of mine has 9,700 on his 01 ES model, well at least he did last month. Haven't seen him lately but he uses his more for farming than trailing, he is about to put on a new set of tires because he is still on the original treads and they are bald.

 

mine only has 903. I have heard/read of a couple with 15,000+!!

Had my 02 Rancher ES 4x4 for 8 months and have approximately 1800 KMs. honda for life!

 

My dad had an 89 honda 300 2x4 that he bought new. He used it every day to do chores on the farm and went to the mountians on weekends. when sold it in 02 it had over 30 000 kilometers on it! The only thing we did to it was adjust the valves(once),one new starter, new brakes, and new tires. We sold it while we were ahed because we figured somthing major would have to go soon. That just shows how hondas are built to last.
