Does anyone know the range of a 450s? I'm considering a Fuel-Pak.

no not really
but it is a 3.4 gal tank...
and we run them pretty long....
itn will probably run about 3.5 4 hours depending on the way your riding

 

I usually get about 64 miles. I have run it out, when I was carring a can of gas with me. It really varies depending on how you ride.

 

19 MPG on a 450...hmm maybe the rubicon wont be such a great deal after all.

 

Hey we go to the strip pits and we ride all day
on my 450-s. It takes a day for a tank of gas.

 

I didn't realize they used that much gas.I have never ridden one or even with one but have rode my 300 all day,like 10 hours or so on a tank. But I guess those 450s have half-again bigger engines than a 300 so they are bound to use more fuel.more power ,more gas I guess....You can't have everything..HAHA

 

Dan it really depends totally on how you ride.
The more you squeeze the more you use.
I ride with a group 0f 6 guys and when we ride the same trails the same way with 4 - 300 Hondas and 2 --450 Hondas we all go on reserve within 10 minutes of each other. The fuel packs are nice on a long ride though but they are pretty spendy compared to a regular old gas can. I personally carry a 2.5 gallon plastic gas container and rarely do we ever use all of it and some of our rides are pretty long. Our record was 8:30 am until 3:30 am 19 hours! We were all on fumes!
As far as miles I have gone as far as 110 in a day and used about 4.5 gallons
Love my 450!
