From what I've understood, that micro-switch will not allow you to start the machine in gear. I've heard that you should unplug the wires and tape them together, but I can't get the wires out of the switch. My entire switch is zip-tied to the handlebars. You might have to adjust the clutch cable down near the clutch cover. I had to when I installed my PEP EZ pull clutch system (perch and lever). Don't waste your money on it. Stock clutch pull isn't bad and the PEP system costs $35. I'm sure any dirt bike perch and lever will work just fine, and at a fraction of the cost. I know a guy who uses the stock lever on a ($10) XR400 perch.

If you want a lighter clutch pull (around 30% less) try the White Bros EZ clutch. You can cut the two wires and solder them together and use shrink tube for insulation (available at Radio Shack).

I put cr250 lo-bend bars, lever, & perch on mine. All you have to do is cut the 2 wires & tape them together, and you bike will start in any gear.

The micro switch is a 3-way switch. So if you don't want to go cutting on your wireing (like me) just unplug and switch the two plugs. When you do this it will work oppsite of the way it does now. It will crank WITHOUT the button being pushed in and WILL NOT crank with the button in.

Hope this helps.
