Are the motor mounts aluminum or steel on a 250r 1987 not the one that are on the fram the one that bolt to the frame and front of the motor. in athinking about polishing then but i don't know if they are steel

LS makes aluminum ones for their chassis, but they arent the same as stock. I imagine it would be pretty easy to just make a set of them, nothing to them really

 

What all can be polished on the 250R

 

ESR sells motor mounts that are billet and look really nice.

Engine center cases, engine side covers

 

anything that is alum. can be polished. Including cases, head, covers, calipers, master cylinders, ect ect.

 

Thanx Dabeechman and trapperp1, do the calipers look good polished and to the keep a polish like most everything else i heard that they fade faster because of the heat the produce.

i have the calipers on our bikes polished and the polish on the calipers seem to hold up better then the cases and cylinder!
