Well after sucessfully installing my front end locker I've discovered there isn't much that can stop my atv now, except about 5 feet of water.
I took alot of water in the engine, I drained the oil and changed it about 3 times. Finally got it started but it would kill as soon as I hit the throttle, drained the bowl of the carb (which was full of water) and took the carb off and dowsed it with carb cleaner.
Finally got it running, but I notice there is still a little whiteness to my oil. How many oil changes does this normall take to get rid of the water in the oil?
Someone else I know that did the same thing said instead of using oil to drain diesel fuel through it because it will pick up water better. Then drain that and add oil again. Anyone heard of this?

Yes, I have done it to mine. I sank it in the river, pulled it out, drained the crankcase, pulled the filter and then filled it with diesel. Spent about fifteen minutes just sloshing it around, and turning the engine over(DO NOT START IT!!!) Then drained out the diesel and refilled with oil, replaced with a new filter. Ran the rest of the day without any signes of water in the oil. When I got it back home I changed the oil again just to make sure I had all of the diesel out. Worked like a champ.
