Hi,
I bought some week ago a foreman 450ES 2003. this week-end my honda stop during a ride like it was out of gas. After 15 minutes it start wellbut run for about 5 minutes and stop again. I bring it at honda. They told me that there was a problem with the centrifuge clutch that broke other piece. My honda have only 12 hour (about 100). I have to wait 2 week for this pieces
I want to know if it is a common problem on this model?
Does this problem can occur often after repair?
And does other problem can occur later because of this problem?
Thank you
Zacker

Sorry, i have never heard of anything like this happening. I have a 2000 foreman 400 4x4 and have never had a single thing wrong with it. As long as warranty covers it, then i would let them fix it, and go from there. Sorry about your bad luck. I have heard lots of good things about the foreman 450 though, so i think when you get it fixed it will be ok. Good luck.

I work at a dealer zacker and we have sold many 450's since 98 when they came out. Their reliability is very good IMO. I have seen only a handful of centrifugal clutch problems and no repeat failures. Haven't seen it cause collateral damage either.

Hard to beleive that you got a 1 ina milllion bad honda. My friend has a 1987 350TRX 4x4. He bought it new an the only thing hes done is a set of brakes an starter bushings! PLUS on top of that he also put his first set of tires on it. 15+ yrs on the original tires. That is increditible So that was my selling piont on getting a Honda.
