The Juniata Trading Company outside of Breezewood, PA carries a line of "coach guns" that look tailor made for ATVs. They are very short double barrel shotguns that come in 12, 20, 28, and 410 gauge. They are simple, inexpensive, and will even fit in my canvas rack pack. I'm not sure why I need it, but I plan on getting a 28 or 410 next time I'm up there.

 

out of all the guns i've owned my favorate pistol is the ruger p89 9mm.very durable and very accurate,when we go camping its the ruger mini 14 in 223

Just wondering, are there any laws about carrying a gun on an ATV?

 

I carry a Ruger 10/22 with scope.

 

Laws vary by state. In Colorado it is legal to carry a loaded handgun uncased on an ATV. It is always legal to carry whatever you like when riding on your own property. Make sure that you know what your local laws are, don't take any chances. Illegal transportation of a fire arm (or bow for that matter) usually carries the same penalties as illegal transport in a car or truck.

My choices are a Ruger kp944 and a Marlin .410/.22 over under.
