Glock 10MM
I've got a G29... and a G20 or actually several... Plus a bunch of other 10mm pistols as I'm a 10mm nutcase...
The G29 is SWEET. Probably the most firepower in the smallest package that exists out there, and it is currently in production. I shoot lots of large calibers, including magnums. Never thought that 10mm was too much to handle, even at my hottest handload levels.
The Pierce grip extensions are nice as it gives your pinkie finger a place to rest. However, they aren't mandatory by any means. Also, G20 15 round mags work great in the G29. There is even a spacer that will make the G20 mags the same size as the rest of the G29 grip for a full-sized grip. Excellent.
10mm can be loaded up to even hotter levels than say, 357 Mag. And with 15 round mags... The math says it all. I carry 200gr jacketed truncated cones that will stop any four legged furries I might encounter (Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska) and will dispatch any two legged threats post haste.
Highly recommended. For the advanced shooter, try the 3.5 pound trigger instead of the 5 pound stock trigger. Mucho bueno...
