I have used sta-bil and like it, I have never tried seafoam, but have used Lucas oil gas treatment and it works good to clean the system.

Sta-bil, I use it in my generators, 4 wheelers, weedeaters, chainsaws....... I haven't had a problem yet. I haven't heard of seafoam before, but from other comments it sounds like Sta-bil...

Is it easy to put too much? I have been using it and it seems that my quad is still running excellent but ever since I started using it, it seems that it puts off a stronger odor than it used to. I just want to make sure I'm not going to hurt it if I accidently put a little too much...

I've used Sea Foam straight into the carb for cleaning. It is more of an oil than say ethanol base. In other words it shouldn't burn too hot in the cylinder to cause head problems so too much shouldn't be a problem other than wasting money.

If you're going to store the gas for more than a few months, it is recommended to double the amount that is used. Normal dose is about two ounces per 5 gallons.
