Deer;my M1 Garand for the close swamp hunts,.243 for the beanfields
Eveything else I use my trust winchester 12ga.

If you could have one fire arm what would it be?I choose a my 12 ga because I can use it for anything from bear(3.5 in slug) to dove and everything in between.

For Semi Rifles....BROWNING'S RULE

For Singleshots...I love the feel of the Thompson Center Encores....try holding one and you'll see what I mean. The Rugar Number 1 is sweet too.

Shotguns...most are fine...I don't like heavy ones like the Mossburg 835's. Ithaca is my favorite I guess.

Lever Actions....Browning all the way.

Bolt Action Rifles...I love the mouser actions...but Browning and Weatherby are my favorites.

Another nice gun for the money worth mentioning is the Rugar M77 Stainless.

My favorite gun over any other is Betty Lou. Yeah...she is the one...she is a Combination AK57 Uzi Radar Laser Triple Barrel Double Scoped Heat-Seeking Shotgun!

And that's the Bottomline®

For dove, quail Beretta 391 Sporting Gold 12 ga.
For duck and geese, Benelli Nova (saiving up for a SBE and hoping they make a 10 ga.)
