.... well maybe I have gone quad crazy!!
Greetings and salutations from a northern Canuck.
I bought an '07 eiger in jan '08. Great machine. I got rid of the plastic bumper cover and replaced it with a factory aluminum version, put new bumpers front and rear (the owner of the dealership wanted to get rid of them and gave me a price I couldn't resist). I put a viper winch on it (which just recently let me down). The winch worked great during this winter to lift my home-made plow though. BTW, I do have a really easy to make plow if any handy-people (wow, that makes me realize how politcally correct I'm becoming!!) want an easy tip... I think I was plowing in about two hours.
My wife has been a bike-rider for years, so it was a natural that I NEEDED another machine so we could ride together. I got a pretty good deal on an '01 400ex. It's all stock, other that the razr's I put on the rear. Fun machine. The first choice in my stable for fun.
The quad-box/two up seat I put on the eiger was comfortable for a passenger (either my 13 yr old son or my 6yr old daughter), but still left someone at home...
I solved the problem though... Or maybe I'm just plain old 'quad-crazy'....
I traded a nice old Honda trail 70 for a nice not-quite-as-old moto-4 80cc for my daughter. Then I went e-baying and ended up with an '07 wolverine 450 with next to no miles on it.
I live in northern Ontario and plan on gearing up with the family and heading out to the woods for a camping trip over the summer. Hopefully we all love it enough that everyone begs to go again!
Love the sport/hobby and just want to have a chance to be able to contact others with the 'quad-cazy' bug!!!!
