Hi everyone, currently looking for an ATV and not really sure where to begin, brand, new, used, reliability... I know 4wd is a necessity and I'm thinking the budget will be $4000.
Any guidance is much appreciated

where you located?$4000 should get you an 05 / 07 kawasaki brute force 750 (not my favorite) or an 05 suzuki king quad 700i (better choice)
any 05 & 06 big bore polaris sportsmans might be close to your $4k mark-
don't bother with any pre 08 can-am's- too many upgrades in 08 to waste money on an 07 model. 05 & 06 yamaha grizzly 700 should be close to your budget also
if you can manage another $500 or so dollars, I might know a guy willing to sell you his 07 honda rincon 680 efi- with some nice upgrades on it....
