Default first quad 87 warrior 400ex front

got my first real quad that the other day live in southern ontario Canada in the country lots of dirt roads forest trails to ride atv connection been coming up alot on google very helpful stuff. Thought Id say hi and see if you guys can tell me anything about this rig. other then my daily drivers first real moto toy. its 87 warrior I bought for 1500 buddy said he put stock 400ex front end on it widened the rear end after market yoshi pipe. had couple questions too like it leaks a very small amount of oil out of the crank case gasket right on top by the center bolt heard this was common though :s also sometimes when in second I try to rev up to do a wheelie and just bogs out Not sure if im doing something wrong first toy with a clutch. But other then that it seems to run good smokes very slightly if sitting for awhile buddy i bought off said he forgot to do valve seals when he did top end 5 years ago should I do them? Anyways thanks for reading any help would be awesome dont know much about this stuff but would like to learn
