You stated earlier that there were 3 manufacturers of the modulators and only 2 that you would use. I know you probably don't want to mention any names but could you tell me what your concern is with the other unit that you don't like.

Thanks for the vote of confidence I bought this machine because it had such potential. I was riding with some friends of mine who had Polaris 700's and in a race I could not beat them going pound to pound I should have waxed them. From that time I was determined to out do a Pol 700 from that time it has snow balled to what I have now. I have enjoyed this sport and hope I have contributed at least a little I am not a professional quad guru and have a lot to learn what I have done to my machine anyone can do.

There is one brand that the voltage is not stable and causes fluctuations in the frequency this is not good for the cdi. The fluctuations are minute but over a length of time it could fry the cdi just my thoughts it might not happen but there is always a chance.
