blown belt

blown belt
Just blew my first belt at 1400km on kvf650 2002 ,this last saturday. Was running wide open trotle on open road.
the belt just explod. After inspecting the sheave there is some worn already on them? Any way i am not impress. Very good performance but very low durability.

blown belt
No way it should have done that even if it was loose, had to be a defective belt, tell the dealer to call Kaw they should replace free.....Kaw customer service is 949-460-5688 ext..2467 this guy has been really helpful to me in the past.......
