Default V-Force vs. Banshee vs. Raptor - My Results

Are the primary springs the same lengh on a P650 & a V700? If so, has anyone tried the Dalton springs? They have 45/143 & 56/157 springs available. I don't know if that was asked before?

What are the engagement, shift out, and stall specs on the stock V-Force primary spring?

kevin m..... ijust installed my hmf pipes and put in a yellow spring from heelclicker.com, it is 2 3/4" long and kinda stiff. and i instaled a black secondary spring from epi. i mainly ride in the sand and do alot of drag racing and hill climbs. i rode it when i was done and it takes forever to engage. it is way over 700 rpms more than stock and i think i could live with that but if i were to trail ride id probally kill my self. i would guess its 1200-1500 over stock. i need a litle less agresive spring. any help would be great

speedwerx I wish you could work with kevinM to figure out exactly which purple spring he has, since he says it works so well, and let us know what it is.

BigOne, I have some emergency welding to do, I can't stop by until later if that is OK with you. Around 8-8:30?

Stock V-Force spring is the same size as the stock Polaris Scrambler blue/green spring rated at 20/90.

Teddy, the main function of the secondary spring is belt tension and downshifting. Changing to the black may get good results on the Prairie, but I don't think its really needed on the V.
If you ride strictly in the sand, then you'll be able to use a stiffer primary spring than those of us who ride in tight woods.

My purple is just a hair under 3" with fairly thick coils. The brown I was using was also just a hair under 3", but with thinner coils than the purple.

Speedwerx, the Kawi clutches aren't as flexible as the Polaris'. We can't use nearly the radical springs that will work in the Scramblers/Sports because the clutch engages too harshly. Also, a set of weights is going for around $125 and nobody that I know of is making different angle helixes yet, much less a roller clutch. I can see you guys doing some serious business with V owners if you start producing those things.
