I have a good dealer, and they like Kawasaki's money. Kawasaki sure liked mine :-) I do wonder what kind of Loktite they used, I was there while the bearings were setting up in the new knuckles.

The high strength red stuff would probably do the trick just fine. I used to use 638 on loose electric motor bearings. It was even better.

Even the green is better than nothing.

My grandpa jacked the front end up and noticed that it clicked as he lifted it off the ground. He sprayed a bunch of water around the wheel well area and said it stopped clicking for awhile. It came back but not as frequently. He said he sprayed some silicone someplace in the same area and it seems to be better but not eliminated. Probably doesn't mean much, could be some kind of coincidence.

From your responses, it almost sounds like it really doesn't matter whether it clicks or not and if he doesn't do the locktite thing he probably won't experience a catostrophic failure?

Everything ive been told says that it really doesnt matter if it clicks. That its the bearing packs going back and forth inside the knuckle. My dealer says he has the first year of the P400 and it has done it since new and he isnt worried.
