Removing front rack Good or Bad
#11
You can take bigger jumps and fly higher than that but if you remove the rack I'd do as Penlands have done, they took a 1/4 inch or thicker piece of aluminum strap and ran it from bolt to bolt at the rear to help support the strut brackets! We ran without the rack on the front and were taking big jumps, 6ft and higher in the air, a table top that is 40 plus ft long and landing on the downside of it, downhill doubles that launches you 5 to 6 ft in the air! We ended up with 2 broken struts and the brackets were bent badly!!!!!!!!!!!! My machine will never be ran without some kinda support , it really looks race ready but the cost is way more than the look is good!!!!!

heres what im gonna do, it will improve the look + save wheight, and still keep my front rack functunal, and it will support my shocks. You know that black peace of plastic that lays on top of the front racks, im simply going to cut all of the metel around it of. And since most of the shock mount support is conseald in the plastic it wont look akward and when combined with the o4 bumper it should look
