Alltoys,

How in the world did you learn how to do all this cool stuff? The ignition sounds amazing. Congratulations on the achievement !!!

Brewster, thanks for the information. It sounds like the clutch mods have definitely improved your performance. I have also been waiting for the EPI pink spring and hope it is what we are all expecting.

Also, bbertram, I heard from Dalton Industries this week and they are doing development work with a piped V-Force and expect to have a clutch kit finished by the end of the month.

Alltoys:

Randy from Alberta Beach here. I will be happy to ride my V-700 over to your shop for testing the new ignition. Hopefully I can "fly" home!!!

I've had my motor near 10,000 RPM's with no motor problems. I not sure the drive line will handle the power and have a $1600.00 bill to prove it.

Thank you everyone for your vote of confidence mostly I appreciate the moderators for allowing us to continue. I am not the best for electronics actually pretty bad but there are people who can reverse engineer almost anything it is forward engineering that is the tough part. I am from the old school where keeping it simple always comes out on top for moddifying an engine ignition above all. I also have clutch modds hints given to me by Reds650, Shotgun, and Samcoeds with some of my own lightning techniques that have helped to improve top end. I want to compare the V700 clutch to the 650 clutch do some measurements see where the difference is. This weekend I will get V700 to play with donated to science from a Kawi Dealer in Shelbrook Saskatchewan. Randy if you are available after I get my ignition installed in the Killer V I will need a comparison V to run against. I would use my 650 but it will be lacking some key components LOL.

I have had some tough going to start on this but I just want it to last more than a couple of runs more like 4-5 hours of abuse. I am very close for which we can all benefit from it.

Alltoys what are you using as a base for an ignition? I'm playing with an old MSD automotive box and a hall effect trigger wheel that is also crank operated. Lots of bugs but shows potential.
