Don't talk about buying or selling the ignition on this thread, we do not want it to disappear and loose all this valued information. E-mail alltoys or call him don't discuss it on this forum. Thanks.

Alltoys,
The ignition company, is it Boyer? I have one for my 70 Triumph, but haven't put on yet.

Bigger;

Put the glue down and move away from the computer!

I've posted some pictures of where to drill the clutch face on my pic page if anyone is interested.

I think they have to be approved by a Mod first, so it might take awhile!

Shotgun, I almost forgot to ask. Is there any reason we could not drill more holes in the cover plate than what you have? Does it weaken it too much?

I'm not an engineer, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't drill more holes, the four post comet clutch like we have, on a snowmoble will hold 200 HP. we only had 40-50. The clutch is over built.

The only thing would be to drill a few and try it. sooner or latter you'll be against the limitor and that's to much.

Make sure your happy with the few holes first. then go from there.

Shotgun,
I know the clutch will handle 125 horse with the same modds you have, the trany is a concern though. titanium and Chrome Molly gears help there. I have a few more holes in my face plate than you do but comparable along with the vains in the rear.

TriumphDude,
I see you have a Triumph I used to have one in 69 poor old rattle trap I wish I had it today as the thing is worth some cash I think I payed $1500 for it new and sold for 900 3 years later. Now it is worth at least here around 5700 almost the price for a new quad. Boyer is a definite consideration and there is another who shall remain nameless for now as they don't want me to tell yet at least till we can get a stator plate made for the pick up. They are almost brothers in the British bike ignition market they compliment each other well soon as I get parts and pieces in I will take pics. Nyroc has gratuitously volunteered to post pics of the systems as there are 2.
