Well the ignition is supposed to get around it and rev to the moon. That might be 1 - 12 months away, I don't know. Shotgun has posted so information about drilling holes into the clutch face plate, this will give you some more RPM, also the prink spring seems to help alot, its from EPI and Dalton is working on a clutch kit, which I hope will include weights and should be tuned well.

Do some searchs on the Kawi section, you will find alot of information. Also search for posts from Shotgun in the past 2 months.

EDIT: Also, I think with a CVT you should never really hit the rev limiter or if you do you should look at re-clutching so that you can better utilize the power, because if your bouncing off the rev limiter you are geared to low but gearing is hard to fix on a CVT. All this has been discussed in detail over the past 2-3 weeks on this forum.

I NEED IT TO GO PAST THE REV LIMITER, I HAVE ALL THE CLUTCH AND SPRINGS AND WEIGHTS 685CC AS MUCH POWER AS I NEED, I CAN MOVE IT ALL AROUND, WE ARE WORKING ON BUILDING RING GEAR AND PINIONS ALL I NEED TO DO IS TO DO AWAY WITH THE REV LIMITER. WE ARE SPONSERED BY EPI SO CLUTCHS ARE NOT A PROBLEM

Blastfromthepast,
The system I am using so far is only good for short runs as in drags or mudd runs. I don't like to divulge how it works at this point as it can cause problems with internal workings on the cdi. Cdi's are not cheap. You say you are racing for team Green if so do they not have a cdi for you to play with? Not that I am against Team Green but they seem to do a lot of taking and not giving in return. Once my system is full proof I will let everyone in on it so everybody will have an equal footing. If you were up against Team Green, the little guy going against the big guy, then I would probably help you get some more oomph.

Look for my post tomorrow on the 3.24 second V700.

Blastfromthepast;

My bike goes right on by the rev limitor. easily 9400 before valves floats.

I've got my clutches lightened,

I don't know why it does, either with the lightened clutches it goes by so fast that it "jumps it" or something else happens. Not sure.

SHOTGUN... did you find a way to "fix" that darn CDI, & you're just keeping it to yourself... or did you really get a "defective" CDI ... LOL & where can I get one... floating valves can be fixed, but appearently this darn CDI can't...WAM

I have no fix. Alltoys, or the guys working on the top end mods are the man.

I just made up my mine a year ago, this CDI thing wasn't going to happen soon and tried to find a way around it.

I figured there would be something bigger and better by then and I would just trade, so far it hasn't happened.

Maybe my rev limitor is related to the accident!! Anyone want there bikes recked!

I'd like to toss out a big thanks to alltoys and shotgun both for all the info and help they have provided to me and everyone else on this forum!!!

I'd also like to say that alltoys is very right about the team green thing,,, they sure like to take all they can get but when it comes time to return favors they seem to forget those who have helped them in many ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blastfromthepast may not be this way but the members of team green I have delt with are!

Our race team for the 12 Hours of America ATV race are the little and unknown guys but with all the wisdom of the great guys on this forum we will hopefully be known as the little guys who slayed Team Green!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackie has been generous with the pictures he's allowed us to post. If anyone remembers the thread about the V-Force getting big air, that was Jackie Meadows doing the jumping and showing how the V could handle it.

Priariewrench,

Thank for the thanks.

Good luck in the race, you'll have a lot of forum members rooting for you.

If you ever race with a v700 or want to change your p700 to two wheel drive, talk to me, I have an idea that would make the V unbeatable, no matter what it was racing against. Drag racing or long haul wouldn't matter, just not sure what your class would be.

Later.
