Eaglesflyalone;

Drilling the 8 holes, will raise your RPM's, about 300-500.

You will need to change clutch weights only if this takes you out of your power band.

Most of the guys with v-forces have aftermarket pipes, airbox mods, and Jetting, They say that running 2 - 56grm weight and 2 stock weights works best with the lightened clutch, they have to be across from each other.

Alltoys. I was wondering if I might be able to check out your machine in the near future. I live waaaay up north in Rainbow Lake, but I'm very interested in seeing this beast of yours up close. I would also like to check out this ignition system, it sounds very promising. I'll be passimg through Edmonton in a couple of weeks. Perhaps you could offer some tuning suggestions for my 650.

Alltoys,
Just wondering if you might have a monday morning update for us. I hope you received the the parts you were needing for this weekend. I just put on 18 in wheels on my V and I am bouncing off of the revlimiter. I can hold it pinned for a couple hundred yards and then have to let off to three quarter throtle. I guess I could take out the purple spring but what would be the fun in that. haha

I just put together the V700 last night my son is up for the weekend and he has volunteerd to test pilot the VFrorce. He managed to catwalk the quad down the length of my drive way almost 500 feet. I have the ignition and a bottle of juice installed to see if it will top 100mph. I am also trying it with stock ignition I shall post results tonight.

Sounds like you hit the rev limiter to me, are you asking a way to get around that or want to know why it cuts out at 8200 rpm?
