Default Figured out the lights.. now what??

As told, (see Strange lights post) I checked NYROCS page and used the info to troubleshoot the alternating lights.. seems my 2wd/4wd selector is malfunctioning... can anyone tell me what my next step should be?? Is this somthing I can fix myself or do I need to take it to the shop? Where is the selector and it's associated hardware located???

Many questions.. guess I just need to buy the repair manual.

Thanks for the help

does your engine brake actuator not make any noise now when you shut the engine off?? Or is your 2wd/4wd switch not working??

Default Figured out the lights.. now what??

The engine brake is functioning fine. All the noises it made in the past are still there. The 2wd/4wd is the problem. No, the switch does not seem to work. I took the drive motor off and "hot" wired it like NYROC's page says to do with the KEBC motor, I get movement. I even reverses wired it and got reverse movement. After I reinstalled it the motor actuated and the blinking lights stopped... in 4wd even though the switch was in the 2wd position. I drove it up and down the driveway and the lights started up again!!! Im out of ideas and now I think it's off to the dealer.. who is a pain in the a--. Last time they had it when the front diff locked for 3 months and gave me sh-- and tried to say it was my fault.. oh well..

Thanks for the help and wish me luck.. maybe I'll get it back before the snow flies.
