Default Anyone have the P700 yet?

I dont want the Grizzly or its problems
I dont want the Polaris - I had the 500 sportsman once and it was simply to heavy and under powerd.
So that leaves the Prarie...
I have ridden them and the feel kinda sporty but I want to know how much power ther is from the 650 to the 700. How much can the 700 out perform the 650? I am not talking about dragracing, I have the DS for that.. I want this for plowing and utility work.

I bought one a couple weeks ago. The big difference between the 650 and the 700 is right off the bottom end and midrange. The difference is really noticable, I would think the 700 would do the plowing and towing stuff great because of the added punch on the bottom end. Plus I know that everyone who has a 650 never had any complainants about not enough power for anything. So with the 700 should be even better for heavy work like towing. Also there is a winch for $69.00 promo on all new Kawasaki 4x4s.

I have rode both and have a V-Force, the 700 is very impressive. And just like Dirt said, it has massive bottom end power. We also have dyno runs of both, the P650 had 29 rwhp the P700 has 31rwhp. Its the strongest stock 4x4 atv out right now, so power is not a problem.

Dirt, I recently bought an "03" P650, figures that the 700 would come out shortly afterward but my question is ,do you know what changes were made from the 650 to the 700?
I have only seen pictures of the 700,I like the new front bumper and I'm waiting to hear back from my local dealer to see if it will bolt onto the 650.I read that the airbox in the 700 if added onto a 650 would make a difference in added power.

The 700 has the same belt and clutching as the V-Force along with what you mentioned above.....

Save your money. Buy a DG snorkle, or the napa hose, to make your existing airbox breath better. Use a better breathing filter like the Twin Air also.

I bet you'll get more gain with that over an airbox conversion.

One of the guys in a different post has exchanged the bumpers from a 650 to a 700 and it is a straight across swap. There were a couple guys who said they have ordered the 700 bumpers for their 650s. The racks are shaped different too. I was told the belts are thicker and stronger and the clutch is set up different from the 650s. I rode both the day I bought my 700 and the 700 was lots stronger on the bottom end. On dirt hard pack it slides at will and 0-50 is impressive. I have not toped mine out yet but I did have it up to 58 on a short straight area of trail and it get there quick. The handling felt about the same but I able to lighten the front end easier with the throttle on the 700 and just slide the rear where I wanted it. The locker is unreal works perfect and makes steering hard as can be if the tires can find good traction. I'm having so much fun on this Quad it should have to have fun overload warning sticker to be legal. Wouldn't matter though I pealed all the lawyer stickers off as soon as I got it home.

Hey dirtywhiteboy or anybody, Who makes a twin-air filter for the p650, and does it fit inside the stock airbox?
Alko.
