anybody put a 700 or 360 belt on P650?

Just wondering to see if any top speed is returned after installing black spring and bigger tires? If so where did you order them from, I am interested and am trying to find cheapest price on belt, I can install myself so just need the info on the belt.
Thanks guys

I installed the V-Force 700 Belt (the same as P700 I think) and the stock 700 primary spring. I know it FEELS stronger on the bottom end but I have no way to prove it. I do know that it increased my top speed 5mph. Before the belt/spring I topped out at 68mph and now it tops out at 73mph. By the way...that's pretty damn fast on a 600+ pound 4-wheeler!!! I think it may actually go faster as that was with me, a passenger and a cooler on the back rack!
--disclaimer-- I don't recommend riding a passenger, carrying a cooler, or running 73 on a prairie down the road.

BadBamaPrairie, thats exactly what I wanted to hear. 5mph is quite a bit though and if I can gain 2mph it will be worth it for me. 5mph is a huge difference. Even running 68 with those very heavy "compared to stock" 589 tires is amazing in itself.

BBP,
Many thanx for the report! I've been waiting for someone to report on the use of a wider belt on a P650 for a while.
I ordered both a P700 belt (yes, its the same one as V700) and P700 stock primary spring this morning for my '03 P650. I was planning to buy Dalton's new blue (primary) spring, but at only $7.50 USD for the P700 stock spring, I couldn't resist trying it out. My P650 currently tops out at 58mph on level surface, so I'm hoping to get an additional 5 mph improvement on top-end with this belt. Also, I can't seem to pull a wheelie in High range (even with my DG Holeshot installed), so I'm hoping the new spring might help it out a bit...I'm assuming the added weight of my winch prevents me from getting a wheelie in High range.

I can wheelie my '02 P650 with a winch up front and I don't have the module installed. I also have 25" mudlites, just like you. I do have my belt on the tight side of the spec though, that may have something to do with it, its also very new still so once it gets older it might not have that jam anymore.

when I got my 650 I got the winch too.It would ride a good wheelie I have 300 miles now and it will barely pull the front wheels now, thats with the cdi module?I bought a new 360 belt yesterday, and ordered the pink spring from epi maybe that will help.It seems it would have to be the belt?

Someone posted that the p700 belt is identical to the p650 belt (same part # according to ronayers). I havent been able to confirm it but I would make sure you are getting the v700/360 belt if you definitely want a top end gain. At least until the p700 belt part # is confirmed.
