is my clutch going
#1
k i have a 93 mojave that has had other valve problems ect and now i think my clutch is going. when i shif into first gear at a stand still it jumps forward about an inch and makes a choonk sound. there was about an inch play on the clutch lever and i had to adjust it lots. sometimes when shifting it goes into nuetral or you hear a bad sand that sounds like a penny going round and round untill you get it into gear again. its like a loud ticking. and today i had an etcperience where my whole clutch didnt clutch. so i adjusted it like it wouldnt engage into the gears. is my clutch going or what. what are some sines of a bad clutch.

It sounds like you have some warpage in the clutch plates or steels. After overheating a clutch a few times you could have warped a plate and now it will not totally disengage (the creep you feel when popping into gear). Do you hear the sounds while coasting with the clutch in? could be something in the gearbox but replace the clutch first. Change your oil to, if the clutch has been used hard then the material that burns off goes into your engine oil.
