Brewster;

Be a little careful with the nitro, don't get to lean.

Fullthrottle, got any pick's, it sounds sweet.

Brewster-I bet it was a 400 Scrambler that beat you. With the right mods you can make them things scream.

Shotgun, thanks for all the advice. I just loaded up my drilled clutch plate pic on "my page" and I wanted to see what you think, but the pic is still awaiting moderator approval and is in the pending mode. I ran the V tonight with a stock spring, and the newly drilled clutch plate with the 56 gram weights across from the stockers. The highest RPM I could achieve on a 300 ft run was 6900, so it looks like I will need to drill some more, including the spider. I have tried getting that spider out before with no success, I might run it up to the dealer to have it taken apart or order the needed kawi clutch tools to do it with depending on how much they are. What do you think about those modulators alltoys was talking about recently as well as a webcam?

Fullthrottle, where did you get that wheelie bar? Did you buy it from someone or have it built? What was the cost?

RideRed, it might have been a seriously modded out scrammy or a bored out 500. Not sure. I wasn't really prepared for the drag, I just went at the last minute and I was loaded down with all the proarmor stuff, nerfs, yada yada yada. Plus I hadn't done any timed test runs yet to see which spring/weights combo works the best.......but I sure am working on it now!

Brewster,

Sounds like your getting it dialed in.

I don't have a 700, so I hesitate giving advice about the cams, although they should make an improvement. Fullthrottle, said his made a big improvement, going from that I would say yes.

I haven't see any posts where a mod was tried on a 700, so I don't know about that. Alltoy said his works well, but I don't know if it is the same as the others.

If you could get your RPM over 7,000, you'd be good.

When you start are you getting alot of wheel spin?

Actually I have a correction, the best RMP was 6980, so I am getting close to the 7000 threshold. Since we have had so much rain here, yes I am getting tons of wheel spin right now. I couldn't wheelie if I wanted to on most of my farm.

Did you get a chance to see my clutch plate pic?

brewster;

Those pic's are sweet.

I like that clutch plate. you should have just cut out the centers, LOL

I might do a little more drilling on mine after seeing yours.

The lighter we can get the clutches, the heavier the weights we can use and still keep RPM's, nice job.

Have you done anything else to lighten it and does it whistle.

Would it help to lighten a stock clutch that has only a primary spring upgrade?
