camo body covers

camo body covers
I purchased a camo fender cover for my '97 Bayou and have been very pleased with it. While it does protect the plastic from severe wear, the cordura nylon it leaves it's own wear marks in certain spots. I usually just leave it on the bike and rinse it off after a day of riding. Sometimes I might unsnap it at the edges of the fendors and rinse behind it if there is a lot of mud.
I recommend covers made by Moose Utilities Division, although I'm not sure they still make them with the same design as mine. This one attaches to the body with snaps that attach snap-head bolts which replace those that attach the plastic to the frame. It makes for a very custom fit. I believe the ones they offer now use clips at attach at the edges of the fendors. Not sure this new design makes for as snug a fit at those designed with snaps.
