Since I don't see much about twist throttles in this forum.....I thought I'd let everybody know, who is interested, that I have a twist throttle on my V and it is outstanding. I highly recommend it. Increases fun by 50%.

 

I've been thinking about going that route. Where did you get it?

Which type, where did you guys get it from, and was install hard?

 

I want one. Did you get a prarie version? RMATV doesn't have a KFX700 one.

 

I have called around and nobody seems to have a twist for the VForce yet. Did you guys rig one up that was designed for another machine?

 

Not really in the market for one....but I think Duncan racing sells one.

motion-pro, they make cables and twists for everything. avail thru any dealer.

 

YES...MOTION PRO is the company. They make two models for the V. One for racing (1/4 turn to full throttle) and one for trail use (1/2 turn). Get the 1/2 turn model. Any quality motorcycle shop parts dept. can order for you, as Motion Pro is the premier manufacturer for twist throttle kits. I did not install myself (had the bike shop do it), but they said it was an easy install. The kit is about $60.00 which includes everything but the new grips you'll need. I put orange grips to match my bike. Trust me, this is $60.00 you will never regret spending!...

 

You are right, Motion pro now makes a full kit for our quads.
