Budwsr,
Glad to meet ya.....sorta. I was in from 83' through 87' with 3/4 ADA. Spent most of my time attached with different grunt units and spent the last 6 months on "special duty". Special Forces used us as a training tool....through 3rd phase SF training we were used as a gorilla force during the field training portion of their training. Don't know if they are still doing that sort of thing still with all the cut-backs in defense spending. I learned a lot of interesting stuff during that time.....I do miss it.
On the topic of the "V", the only problem I'm having is keeping up with all the mods....when they come out with a new one I HAVE to have it. The new degree key will be next weeks project. Happy riding!!

I have the Kawasaki nerfs.....They may be a little more expensive but fit perfect and mount very solidly...I would reccomend them.

ok call me stupid but.....
What's is a "degree key"?
a "Pink Spring?"
"CDI" is that a rev limiter

the more you tweak it the more you have to constantly mess with it to keep it running correct?
kinda like these guys that put 6k into their bikes and spend most of the day setting it up to ride a half an hour each time

I have a set of AC Pro Peg nerf bars I had no problem with mine. I know that the peg pieces that mount to the frame there is one for the left and right, and i opted for the oranage nets and they look sweet on my quad! You can see the pics on my page. The only problem i had with AC was that the front bumper and the rear skid plate niether one of those lined up easly so i had to do a lot of prying, wasnt happy at all with that!

I also went with the Kawasaki brand nerfs, fit perfect and nice and solid. Ordered thru ronayers, so a little cheaper than ordering straight from Kawi. They do not come with the heel guards or new foot pegs like some of the others, but they work fine for me ! They also came with detailed mounting instructions, no prying involved.
