im up in the air on what to get for a new quad ....here are my thaughts i love to mess arond on my 250r small air donuts trail riding at first i was thinking z400 yzf450 or the ner honda 450 .......but now im thinking p700 becous iv herd there fun and 4x4 and plowing with it intrest me...so what do you guys think 20 ft air dosent appeal too me and i dont ride mx so do you think i can have ""fun "" with the p700 in the summer and fall and plow with it in the winter......

I think as long as i can drift sideways with it ill have fun with it has anyone ever plowed with it if so how dose it do....

 

A friend of mine told me about the p700's, I said yeh sure... a utility quad....no thanks. I took one for a ride and now I have a for sale sign on my scrambler. I too was contemplating getting something to plow with, but didnt want to get rid of the speed and fun of a two stroke ( my bodys too beat up for serious jumping, thats why I rode a scrammy) but I still have the need to go fast ya know! I guess you never outgrow that :-) . I was impressed with the ride, and it has the straight rear axle that I'm used to. IRS is fine but its not for me. Take 1 for a ride, you may be surprised. Anyone who reads this and has 1, Please post any known/common troubles that u have experienced. Thanks and good luck archerynut (I am 1 too) Bob

 

The P-650 and P-700's are great, versatile bikes. A little heavy, but you can get used to that. IMO one of the few 4WDs, that thinks it a sportbike at times. I will buy a P-700 sometime in the near future, I DO miss my P-650. The V-Force is fun, but I miss that 4WD once in a while. ESP., in the winter, as I like to ride year 'round! I also want to ride the Artic-Cat 650, before buying a P-700.

 

After all that you have said, Buy a KFX 700. You said you liked the YFZ and the P-650.
They have racks available for the KFX and you can still do the jumping like the YFZ. it has ridiculous bottom end torque to top it off.

 

Bonehead700-- Do you have pix, or a link to the optional racks for the 'Force? I'd like to see'em.
