Default needind a list of dealers that honored the promo after you bought a quad

Hey guys. A couple days ago I finally got feedback from the Better Business Bereau regarding my complaint. My dealer pretty much confirmed that they are manipulating the cost of the bike to compensate for the price of the winch.....meaning you are still paying 400 for the winch. They also stated that no dealer is going back and selling the winch to customers that after the sale.

this is what i'm looking for. I know there are several out there. I need the NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS of several dealers that have sold winches to people after they bought the bike. It could be hours, days or weeks. You can PM, email, or just leave the info on a post here.

I've come to the conclusion i really don't want the winch but its the principal of the whole thing. I hate being lied to and taken advantage of. I'm still quite satisfied with my treatment when i bought the bike just want to get my point to the dealer.

I'm looking for 10-20 dealers that have done this......MORE WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!

thanks guys.

Well, I can't help you there but I can tell you the dealer that sold me my 03 P650 gave me a flat rate of $69.00. No mounting plate charge, no labor.
I have heard of a dealer that sold a Prairie, and the buyer declined the winch deal, so he sold the winch to a loyal or regular customer for $69.00 without the purchase of a Prairie. He did buy one just before the Promo.

Good Luck

You mean like anything else in this world?

Dealerships advertise quads at a cheap price and then tack on additional costs bringing the OTD cost up significantly...this is real common in big cities...

What exactly is the problem?

Cartman- I had to threaten to sue my dealer to get my rebate after I had bought my Prairie. They said they ever tell anyone about rebates that they just take it out of the price- Ha! I asked and they still didn't tell me. They did pay though after about three weeks arguing. I am convinced that the market just accepts the dishonesty and no one questions the dealer. The rebate started on July 1st and ended in August. If you bought a selected quad during that time you were eligible for the rebate either cash back , merchandise or applied to the quad. The dealer said it was their decision on how to apply it not the consumer. The dealer is reinbursed the cost of the winch or the rebate by Kawasaki or the winch manufacturer, it cost them no money and in some cases is doubling their profit. What a way to be treated- Matt

to hell with it. I don't want the damn winch anyway. I'm gonna try to stay cordial with the dealer cause they are the only ones that treated me like a person when shopping.

thanks for the thoughts guys.
