It looks like the Prairie 300/400 was recalled again. The first recall was for the belt, as far as I know.

My bro has one of these. From the verbage, it looks like you roll when the steering "separates". How else can you get "broken bones, bruising, scrapes, and lacerations"?

Has anyone gotten anything in the mail yet.

 

Gosh, I guess nobody in this forum has or cares about the 300 /400.

Even so, why can't I ever find one on someone's front lawn with a for sale sign that says $250? They always want $4000 or so.

 

Nyroc, I got the recall letter on Friday and read it quickly. Basically, the torque applied to a nut or bolt (I am 450 miles away from the letter right now) either related to the tie-rods or ball joints was insufficient to keep the said nut or bolt in place long term. I haven't had any problems with my P400 4x2 but I will take it too my dealer when I get back home.

That is strange, every one of those nuts has a kotter pin on it, as far as I can remember.
