Diamond G Unlimmiter Module Question(s)

Reds650,
Is correct the stock cams and timing are major factors along with cdi that control total speed. Better timing along with cam timing will help with bottom end torque but there is not enough cam to go faster. A different timing degree will help slightly but not as much as it is supposed to do. 32* is what Kawi has said is a good timing set for all round performance I have pushed mine to 40* and reved the bike to 10,500 with different cams and springs. It is very difficult to go higher in rpm with stock cams than 8200 rpm even if you push the timing to 32*. There is a great deal of potential but the cdi will have to be eliminated to get there.

HIggsV,
There is a proper offset key that can be used it is designed for Suzuki sled engines in Cat sleds. There are different degrees the one you are looking for is a 4.40* key it should be around 3-4* of advance. If you also move the pickup over you can gain some more timing as well. Doing the key and the pickup you can gain at least 6* but note the timing will be full advance at 5000 rpm to really take advantage of the new timing you have gained. It would be very benefitial to have it come on at 3000 rpm hopfully the new cdi will do this. Untill then the key and moving the pickup will be most helpful you will not need the unlimiter as you will have the full benefit of the timing increase that the unlimiter would provide.
