Every now and then I post the following link around the net on various ATV-related sites. I hope everyone feels this post relevant.


There are groups of people in the world who are actively working to take away our riding areas. While this is constantly irritating, it is hardly life-threatening. Some groups, however, not only want our riding areas closed, they clearly and proudly practice terrorism. These "people" aim to severely injure and even murder those they oppose....and those they oppose...are us! They show absolutely no concern that their twisted efforts could (and will) injure or kill children.

Thanks Wheelcow.....man that's just plain crazy that people would go to extremes such as those listed.

 

Its almost unbelievable, but this "Earth First" group is truly nuts. Here in Southern California they went in at night and vandelized a rather large Hummer dealer. They did the usual stuff such as spray painting words on some of the vehicles but they also set many of the vehicles on fire (along with the building). The fire department said that the resulting fire of building and vehicles put more polutants in the atmosphere than all the Hummers would have over their collective lifetimes. So...these people aren't just dangerous.....they're dangerous and stupid. This particular Hummer dealer also sold gas/electric hybrid cars and, according to the owner's daughter, he sold far more of these than he did Hummers.

I got to thinking yesterday, I suppose that if any of us were to fall victim to these deadly traps set by Eco-Terrorists, it'd be classified as an ATV accident (or at least ATV related). Grrrrrrrrrrr!

I, too, have seen some disturbing things taken from the "Anarchist's Cookbook". Ideas, and traps for neutralizer "enemy" dirtbikers, etc.! SCARY!
