I was thinking of selling my 02 650 and getting a 700 can any body tell me how much faster the 7 is over my 650

THE PRAIRIE 700 IS NOTICABLY FASTER ESPECIALLY ON THE LOW AND MID RANGE. I THINK YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE DOING THE RIGHT THING IF YOU SOLD YOUR 02 650 AND BOUGHT THE 04 700. YOUR 02 650 HAS 42 HORSEPOWER AND THE 04 700 HAS 47 HORSEPOWER. 5 HORSEPOWER MAKES ALOT OF DIFFERENCE ON A 600 LB. MACHINE. HOPE THIS HELPS...

 

Also the 700 has improvments over the 02-650 like the belt, air box, and clutch bushing to name what I know of. It's a money thing too. The longer you wait the less you will get for the 02.

 

I traded my 02 650 in for a 700. The 700 feels lighter at the controlls, more responsive and tighter. I am very pleased with the new machine. Seems a bit more refined.
