Take a non-marring tool such as a plastic tree felling wedge or something similar, pry the secondary sheaves apart while pushing the belt down between the sheaves to hold them apart. You can then roll the belt off over the primary. Takes all of thirty seconds. Reverse the procedure to reinstall.
You pretty much HAVE to remove the primary to change the weights. Unless you can grunt that belt off!. The sheaves won't close unless you get the belt out of the way.

You probably don't have enough weight to close the sheaves. I am running almost 59 gram levers. With the pipes , the heavier weights will load the engine and make her work. I start to fall off at 50-53mph but I get there FAST. The 61 gram levers were more linerar and did not fall off till 58 mph but it took longer to hit the numbers on the way up. I am clutched to go 15 or 20 to 45 FAST for hill climb and trails.
I have no need to hit anything above 55 mph. I just want to be there when most others are still around 40-45 mph.

I timed pulling my primary...15 seconds!! LOL!! Alltoys told me that secret but after diddling for a couple of minutes and not wanting to scratch the sheaves, I go with pulling the primary off. just as quick and it is a good opportunity to clean the thing as well. As we say at the lake "what ever floats your boat"!!
