Ron Ayers will not sell me a Rear fender (something about shipping problems due to the size). Does anyone know any other place I can get an OEM rear fender other than the dealer (dealer is expensive....).

Also, can you purchase the Limited Edition plastics? If so are they crazy expensive (I heard they were)?

I've bought OEM plastic from Yahamaoftroy.com, Magicracing.com, and Motoman.com in the past. I have no idea about LE plastics.

 

shipping problems due to size ??? If your willing to pay for the shipping
it shouldnt matter what size it is.. FEDEX or UPS will ship anything, they
can wrap it, stick it in a box and send it anywhere...

 

That's what I thought, but they won't sell me that part.....

 

UPS and FedEx both have size limitations to what they will ship. I sold Rear fenders from a Raptor on eBay, and UPS and FedEx wouldn't ship them. I ended up having to take them to a freight company and pay $55 to ship them.

That is not FedEx's regular service--they told they would be happy to ship them via air service, which is what both of those options are. It was $212 overnight and $165 2 day--a little steep for fenders that are worth less than the shipping cost.
