Kawasaki float is sticking in carburetor( help)

I have a kawasaki kdx 200 dirt bike and the float is sticking. How can I fix the prolblem? When I lightly tap on the carb it solves the problem but it doesn't take long before it sticks again.... Can you help? Thanks

take the carb off and polish the float needle seat with some lapping compound and the look at your needle end and make sure it dosent hav a groove around the tip, if it does replace it
