The polaris has a threaded hole with a plastic screw.I thought about doing this to my prairie. The one on my v is hard to get out ,and I have to put a little soap on the plug to get it back in.A new factory plug is about $1.50.

Go to a hardware store or boating supply store and get a small drain plug for live wells. then just drill a hole to match the plug your done. They twist tight and won't fall out.
