Default Tecate 3

Ok, I found what I believe to be a good deal on a tecate 3. Its either an 86 or 87but I am not sure what year it is but what the hell, its only $50. It needs a few pieces though..... I will be needing a flywheel, cylinder, and piston. Everything else is there and is ok. Does anyone have any extra parts or know where to look for them???? Thanks for your help.

Well, I bought it today and I'm going to pick it up tomarrow. The cylinder is trashed but the head, power valve, and rest of the motor is fine. I know its ok because the local shop looked it over quickly to make sure my con. rod is good and everything checked out ok. So, if anyone has an extra cylinder or flywheel lying around and would like to part with them pm me and we'll talk. Thanks everyone.

Make sure what ever flywheel you find to check it over close to make sure the magnets are firmly in tact! They are notorious for the magnets coming loose and alot of the time they tear up the stator at the same time. There is a web site called 3wheelerworld you may find something there.
