Trading v for p700 today what should I expect??
#1
Hey guys, I am finally going to trade my v-force for a p 700. How much difference in 2wd is there from the v-force. Personally I am looking forward to not doing wheelies every time I mash the gas. Should I have the dealer install a winch?? If so which size and brand.???. I am trading now guys because KAWASAKI has a special financing program through the end of the month that the payments are 49.oo$$$ a month for the first 3 years on anything under 10,000.00. That is quite a deal , Don't you guys think???. Does the prairie have the same throttle adjustment as the v-force where you can turn the screw out and limit how far the throttle will go???. I was thinking of doing that this time because I just had no self control on the v-force and I would like to make this my last quad purchase for at least 5 years. All your input will be appreciated guys and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The P-700 will seem WAY slow! I did the same thing 2 months ago!
You will need "real" tires . The stock Dumflops really suck! You'll get used to the weight, and power characteristics. I see that you are from Gro-Tucky. I am from around Delaware. Where do you ride? WNF? Good luck!
PS--- you don't need that throttle stop, UNLESS, you want to slow your teenager down. LOL

L&S: After I read your post this morning, I went down to the local Kawasaki shop and bought a P770 in CAMO, with winch and extended warranty. I'll have to put the winch on myself, but that's OK, (I hope).
Yeah I been looking for a replacement for the old Warrior, and for a while was thinking about another Raptor, or possibly a 450, or possibly another big bore from Honda or Suzuki, but I don't know if I will live long enough to wait for one of those manufactureres to "catch up". SO I too am the proud owner of a CAMO P700. I pick it up tommorrow....... The way I figure it, at $49 a month for three years, I'll have lots of time to figure out if I like it or not.... I was going to wait for next year, but $49 a month made my mind up for me right now.

The winch is extremely easy to put on, the universal control mount does not work or look very good, as an alternative we have only used the plate that holds the controls and removed the bottom bolt to the brake handle, got a longer bolt and a spacer and mounted it there.
