Hey that's My question!!~LOL.. I just bought the dial-a-jet and have not installed it yet, Im running an HMF slip on and have already changed jetting. Im was told by Thunder Products when I bought to leave the stock jetting. The Prairie that I was going to use it on runs great!! so now Im in limbo~LOL. I don't change sea level much but heard it helps with throttle response? Im looking for feedback on this product myself as far as already having a jetted quad and can it make it any better??

I'm picking my quad up tomorrow ( Dial-a-jet installed... I have several ( OK, lots of mods, including a FST 750cc big bore kit )... I think we're back to stock jets, or 1 size over, now with the Dial-a-jet installed... I believe that you want the stock jetting, for most mods... the big bore kit is probably an exception...

weride you answered on a post that you could put the washers under the clip on the needles on the p700.Did you have problems also jetting your prairie and this took care of the stumble. On the instructions it says to put them above the clip. Not trying to start anything just wanted to know what this will do.Thanks G.V.

gvance The sock needles have no E-clips as you know.I shimed mine up so you don't have to choke the you know what out of it. If your not running stock neddles you can adjust this with out shiming by adjusting you E-clips. I shimed mine back using electrical ring connectors, they measured 30 thousands each two for each carb. You lift the needles out of the carb. Mine starts up with no choking at all now.

I have them installed and love them! They really helped me dial in my machine with each setup I run.
I wouldn't change any stock jetting when you install the dial a jets. If they don't seem to improve anything at first then you will have to lean out your jetting one size at a time. But you should feel a difference in throttle response when working correctly. I run the stock needles in my carbs, the dial a jet will adjust for the middle rpms. The only jets you may need to change are the main jets, unless you run a big bore kit then you may have to richen up the pilot jet.
Good Luck!!!
