getting more power???

Default getting more power???

Hey guys, I have a 2003 p650 with 26in mudlites and a black spring other than that its stock. I races a stock p700 today and got beat so i was wondering what to do to give it more power than a p700? has any one heard of high lifters ignition? i heard it gives you 5 more hp... I only have about $1000 to put in to it, any help would be grate..

start at the bigining the simpleist is intake and exhaust. climb the chain to power.lol that sounded cheap

oh hay you can do this cool mod i just remembered for a 650 or most quads. get a saws all or something that cuts metal. and cut the end cap of your exhaust the take out the spark arester and also there should be like 2 disks welded into the exhaust cylinder. drill about 12 3/8 holes in bothe of these with a really long drill bit. then weld the end cap back on. you get way more bottome end and mid and also a cool deep throaty sound that is just a tad louder than stock.

Do you mean Polaris 700 or Prairie 700? My buddy had a Polaris700 and I consistently kicked his **** off the line in a drag. But when the speeds picked up (around 50mph) he would slowly reel me in and pass me. There ain't nothing you can do about your buddy beating you in a long race if he has a Polaris 700, as the Polaris700 has more top end than the 650. If he has a Prairie700, mod your airbox, put in an aftermarket filter, buy a DG intake snorkle, do the exhaust mod, rejet your carbs, and put in a Naber frequency modulator. That should at least make it a fair race!!!!!

I had the same situation, my good friend bought a p700 and was passing me real easy, I started with the holeshot module (then I was beating him alot on takeoff but not for long) k&n+snorkel mod and nyroc exhaust mod and of course rejeting ( I went to 145/148+ 0.060 needles shims and 4turns on the screws, then after bought a polaris white clutch spring with 40 pound of stall (weelie like crazy and make the bike rev a bit higher) I also lighten the clutch face plate with the 8 1/2 holes(atv power sec. kfx, or you can buy the dalton overdrive one again that is for more rev& respond) all this, along with the 700 belt, NJK iridium plugs( realy like them) and the kebc remove. it was enough to pass him and cost under 200$ . if you realy want to spen 1000$ I will mabye go with a complete exhaust system (pro circuit give the more hp from what I read) there is not much power difference ( depens on how much you remove inside your muffler) but it will sound better and not realy louder again depending on how much you remove... and buy some good tires cause the stock ones are bad !!
in a week I wiil try retarded the cams 10* along with a 6* advance key (0.040" offset woodruff for the magneto)
as for the cdi I heard alot of talk, but nobody has one !!!!
