KFX 700 Needle Shims?

Default KFX 700 Needle Shims?
Has anyone played around with shimming the needles?I was thinking of using .040 (washers)shims per needle will this work?

Just put in .032 shims,to late to test.Couldn't what for a reply from everybody else.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
