Hey Guys

I just put my new warn 2.5 warn winch on my new p700 lastnight. Everything is hooked up correctly just like the directions say. I went to disengage the clutch to freespool some cable out through the fairlead an it will not freespool so I pressed the rocker switch and the cable came out some. So I disengaged the clutch again still will not freespool. I tryed everything but hooking my truck up to it and it still will not come out unless you you press the rocker switch and the motor unreels it. Any ideas of what the $$ell is going on with it. Also the motor sounds rough when it reels in and out. Any help will be greatly appreciated . Or I will just have to send it back.

If it wont release I would take it back. Winches are expensive. I just put one on and it released fine. Take it back where you got it and trade just the winch from a new kit.
