I was climbing a small hill behind my house going slowly. I was staring at the front tires to watch them work and I noticed that it the tires were acting like the power to them was cycling on and off very quickly. This was the same with the yellow handle pulled. I think it was making noise also.

Any ideas?

it'll be a problem i think if you don't adjust your diff lock cable... Atleast that's what fixed it on mine. BTW I'm not sure but I think you are like me and never use the diffi for a long time. I would pull the lever a little more when it's in 4x4 on a straight strech just to keep it working.... it seams to work for me; never had a problem with it since. Don't know about a noise.
